SIB FD Visit Waterfalls Argentinian side Full day excursion 08:00 am to 17:00 pm
Daily tours early in the morning (08:00 am). This tour visits part of Iguazu National Park. It preserves 67.000 ha. of giant trees, vines and ferns living with multicolored butterflies, birds and other mammals, very rich local flora and fauna. The tour starts with a visit to the Local museum and then continues with the Lower level visit, where we can see among others, the "Two sister Falls", the "Bossetti Fall", the "hidden Fall", a panoramic view of "San Martin Fall" and from there a panoramic view of the Brasilian falls. Time for lunch (Not included). Finally we take the Train of the Jungle up to "Devil´s Thooat" station. From there, after 1.000 meters walk along to the catwalks, we get to the most breathtaking view of the waterfalls.
*Lunch is not included: There are several cafeterias and restaurants in the park and we will allow time for lunch after the visit of the upper level, previous to the Devil's Throat visit.
*National Park tickets are not included: Can be added to the tour upon request or paid previous to access to the park by customers directly.
Suggestions: Wear caps, sun glasses, take a bottle of water, plastic bags for cameras and electronic devices, comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
SIB HD Visit Waterfalls Brazilian side Half day exscursion AM or PM
Visit to the brazilian side waterfalls allows you see the largest panoramic views of the falls with the greatest sights of them. The visit beings at the Visitor Centre taking along the colorfull buses of the Brazilian National Park to the beginning of the path.
*Clue: A visit to Iguassu waterfalls MUST include both, Argentine AND Brazilian side tours. In Argentina the visitor will be at the waterfalls, but the view from the Brazilian side is amazing and it is worth the half a day that it takes.
*Clue: Depending on your arrival and departure flights, this tour can be made after your arrival to Iguassu or before your departure from this city the same day.
Macuco Safari is an unrivalled boat trip that will lead you on an exciting adventure at Iguassu Falls, where you will enjoy all its splendour. The tour starts with electric vehicles (environmentally friendly) which will take you through the exuberant forest of Iguaçu National Park, accompanied by bilingual guides that will along the path comments about the fauna and flora, in addition to curiosities about the National Park. SIB Great Adventure (In conjunction with Argentine side waterfalls visit) Supplier's Website
Great Adventure combines in a single trip the very essence of Iguazu National Park: the jungle and the waterfalls. Departing from the Operative Center or from the Visitors’ Center, we shall enter the jungle by the Yacaratiá trail in trucks specially designed for this environment. Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) will introduce the place’s natural and cultural resources.
This 5 kms long stretch ends at Puerto Macuco. At its dock, visitors shall board on the boats that shall be sailing in the Lower Iguazu River for as long as 6 kms, heading towards the waterfalls area, enjoying plentiful rapids.
Upon reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, visitors shall be able to see the falls of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Afterwards, the most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martín waterfall, the second in dimension and the hugest any boat may face.
At the end of the trip, we shall descend from the boat on the dock located in front of the San Martín Island, where visitors may continue enjoying the landscape joining the runways system of the Lower Circuit.
This excursion can also be made in the opposite direction: from the San Martín dock to the Visitors’ Center.
