Hub of the rubber cycle in nineteenth century, Manaus has huge constructions, such as the Opera House (Amazon Theater). It is also known for the great variety of vegetation, culture, art and gastronomy.
The tour visits important attractions that represents the local culture and the history of the region, such as the following sites: Floating Port of Manaus; Rio Negro Palace, the old official residence of the governor and a beautiful example of architecture of the rubber golden period; Indio’s Museum, which exposes traditions and customs of indigenous tribes; Justice Palace; and the grandiose Opera House (Amazon Theater), a spectacular theater founded in 1896 and the symbol of the rubber golden period.
